These include motors, servos, steppers, relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, proximity sensors, machine and process controls, circuits, alarms, and communication systems critical to our production and building operations. Required Education/Experience: Proficiency in control logic and ladder logic. Ability to design and interpret PLC/electrical circuits. Experience in maintaining PLC systems, including managing backups and ensuring availability of spare parts. Comprehensive understanding of industrial electrical systems, including advanced electrical systems (three-phase 460 volts and higher), and the ability to design, size, and install components. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for electrical components and systems such as motors, air compressors, pumps, and AC/DC drives. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Associate's degree or Certification in Electronics, Automation, or related fields. Proven experience in troubleshooting instrumentation and PLC issues and working with maintenance technicians and engineers to resolve them. In-depth working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs. Experience supporting PLC-related projects, including overseeing contractors and developing PLC and HMI programming. Strong knowledge of advanced industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repairs. Job Responsibilities: Lead and support continuous reliability improvement initiatives across all systems and practices. Troubleshoot, dismantle, and examine electrical devices to repair or replace defective parts, and adjust or repair control instruments. Utilize extensive experience in PLC troubleshooting, interpretation, modification, and programming to ensure system functionality. Design, upgrade, and install electrical equipment, circuits, and systems to meet operational demands. Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair for electrical devices. Proactively improve equipment reliability and uptime by applying a preventive maintenance approach. Accurately document work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, maintaining all records, logs, manuals, drawings, and other documentation. Collaborate with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot PLC and instrumentation issues and work with engineering teams to implement programming changes on PLCs and HMIs.
