Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Lead new and existing early stage solar, solar storage and standalone storage assets throughout the Eastern United States, with a focus on PJM territory Lead a team of up to 5 direct reports Coordinate with the internal Land, Permitting, Engineering and Interconnection teams as well as outside consultants on an as needed basis to ensure that projects are meeting development milestones, development risks are being mitigated, and project returns are improved Initiate and/or support relationships with local jurisdictions to ensure projects are obtaining all possible incentives and have good standing within the local communities Maintain development asset database with core project inputs and status updates Conduct financial modeling and analysis of prospective development projects, as well as maintain current models for the development pipeline Assist in acquisition of development assets and/or platforms on an as needed basis Support the Land, Permitting and Interconnection teams on an as needed basis with research, analysis and strategies for development Support the Utility and Commercial Power Marketing teams on an as needed basis for RFP responses and other off-taker outreach and strategy Research emerging renewable energy markets and identify new development prospects Full duties on budgeting including forecasting spend, updating current spend, budget reporting and staffing needs. Assist Market Leader with execution on strategy and developing strategy for market. Desired Skills and Expertise: Outstanding organizational, communication, decision making/problem solving, analytical and time management skills. 5 years' experience administering energy projects and/or project financing of renewable energy projects Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Office, as well as Microsoft Dynamics (or equivalent CRM; i.e. Salesforce). Able to demonstrate experience dealing successfully with peers, subordinates, management, and unaffiliated third parties Exceptional presentation, communication and interpersonal skills Passion for renewable energy industry Education: BA/BS degree required with concentration in business, finance, economics, engineering, and/or other quantitative/environmental fields Compensation: Commensurate with experience; very competitive.
