Job Overview Provide occupational health nursing care for ill/injured employees. Recommend placement of employees in jobs compatible with their health and safety. Assist Children's Health Corporation and its entities in regulatory agency compliance. Assist in enhancement and conservation of employee's health through nursing care. Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Experience: One year nursing experience. Licensure(s): Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire. This position may require a BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Responsibilities POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE Pediatrics 13yrs -18yrs (volunteers) Adult - >18yrs to 65yrs Geriatric - >65yrs ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Coordinate disability management for non-occupational and occupational illnesses/injuries to ensure health and safety of employees, maximize productivity and reduce costs. Maintain a confidential, complete, and accurate system of employee medical records to provide information for job placements, medical surveillance, health maintenance and workers' compensation claims. Promote wellness among employees through educating, counseling, and providing resource information. Provides nursing care, using established protocols/pharmaceutical standing orders to place and maintain employees in a safe and healthy work environment.
