Sr. Network Engineer/ North America CoE Lead The role of the Information Technology Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operation, reliability, and integrity of the enterprise data communications network. This includes the installation, maintenance, and management of all network equipment such as switches, routers, wiring, network management, and diagnostic tools. Also, develops company policies and procedures in alignment with Group IT to support network operations, security, and integrity. This position assists in the planning of large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. Provide responsive support and assistance to the Service Desk associates, Tarkett North America personnel, inclusive of all business relationships for complex technical support problems, inquiries, and service requests. The individual will be the senior point of escalation within the IT organization locally and globally for the associates and for all customer-impacting situations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Senior Technical or Informational Customer Escalation Support Contact - Highly responsive customer support and assistance to Tarkett, N.A. personnel or business partners for technical support problems, inquiries, and service requests. Ensure the escalation of more complex problems or service requests to internal support groups and third-party vendors are being performed within documented service level agreements. Technical Project Collaboration - Partner with TNA & TSP and Group IT project managers on training and processes which increase and enhance the quality and efficiency of the TNA end-user community. SPOC in North America for impacting situations across office environments, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and remote locations. Responsible for maintaining all North America networking diagrams and partnering with telecommunication support providers. Project Management Collaboration for new/upgrades to technology infrastructure. Service Impact Outage Handling. Maintain consolidated reporting on technology-related expenses. Credentials and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education. Proven track record showing 10 years of full-time hands-on networking experience. CCNP certification or equivalent skills & substantial experience. Network or security certification such as CCSP, CCDP, CCVP, or CISSP would be a plus. Expert knowledge on the following technologies: Wireless Networks, Network Routing, Wide Area Networks, Network Security. In-depth understanding of design and implementation of Wireless LAN/MAN/WAN. Experience in telephony, load balancers, NMS, security appliances, etc. Experience with Layer 1 network connectivity and troubleshooting and Layer 2, 3, and dynamic routing architectures. Experience with Protocols: Internet protocol suite TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP. Experience with Juniper, F5, Riverbed, Solarwinds, or other brands. Must handle share of level 1 & 2 break/fix support up to level 3 & 4 escalation, design/architect work. Experience with the operation, security, troubleshooting, and design of enterprise data networks. Knowledge of data protocols, IT architectures, networking standards, and security best practices.
