Position Summary Responsible for Operation and Maintenance of Diving's Saturation Systems and the Hyperbaric Reception Facility (HRF). Duties & Responsibilities ESSENTIAL Reports directly to the Diving Equipment Manager on all issues related to the diving yard, diving equipment, and diving personnel. Works closely with the Equipment Group to maintain the Operational Readiness (IMCA, IOGP, ABS) of all Diving Equipment under his responsibility. Communicates with Clients on the condition of readiness of the two portable Saturation Systems under his responsibility. Direct the activities of Diving Personnel and Technicians under his/her supervision. Communicate with employees and management to determine possible problems with the facility, processes or equipment and develop a plan to correct them. Completes time logs for Diving personnel and technicians under his/her supervision. Keep a record of maintenance and repair work performed including dates and costs. Manages the mobilization and demobilization of the Saturation Systems, and the HRF. Works to track and reduce costs. As directed by the Equipment Manager, coordinates scheduled and unscheduled audits of the equipment maintenance records for all Diving Assets. Leads morning Safety meetings. Collaborate with HSE department to ensure safety requirements are upheld in the yard. Develops and approves JSEA's and work permits for all activities related to working on Diving Equipment. Generates or processes equipment purchase request for review and approval. Is available for on-call rotation and emergency callouts. Participate in Root Cause Analysis Teams. Works with the Equipment Group on the Implementation of the Maintenance System for all Diving Equipment. Qualifications REQUIRED 5 years of related field experience within the diving services industry involving commercial diving focused on oil & gas projects or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a broad knowledge of electrical power distribution systems, piping systems, hydraulic systems, and Diver Life Support systems. PREFERRED High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Vocational or Business Management Degree or Certificate in Commercial Diving or Marine Technology or Project Management Degree. Additional Information WORKING CONDITIONS This position is considered SHOP/INDOORS WORK which is characterized as follows. Primarily indoors during the day and occasionally at night. Frequently working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment. When outdoors, humidity is frequently above 90%. Noise is over 85 decibels. Light is intense/glare. Occasional exposure to open fire/flames/sparks. Frequent exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases.
