Job Location - Gainesville, GA Required Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. License preferred; or must have ability to pass the Industrial Wastewater exam within six (6) months to become licensed. Minimum of one (1) year previous experience in a Wastewater Treatment position. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities: Keep equipment clean and perform routine maintenance on equipment for proper operation. Complete all check sheets. Perform an hourly check on chemical levels, including titration checks of chemical levels applied to metal going through washers. Perform an hourly check on water going to the city's water system ensuring Hydro is below permit limits for discharge and managing hazardous waste according to state and federal regulations. Start waste treatment system and ensure it is running as efficiently as possible. Place hooks/rods in burn-off oven, remove, and clean for line use daily. Complete chemical inventory as necessary and report usage.
