General Job Description Winding Department Lead $2,500 Sign-on Bonus (Payable after 90 days of Employment) Magnetech Industrial Services, Inc. Subsidiary of IES Infrastructure Solutions, LLC Classification: Hourly Location: Massillon, Ohio Job Summary: Lead the Winding Department in performing the testing, rewinding, and refurbishment of AC and DC motors. May perform operations involving dismantling, rewinding, repairing, reassembling, and testing motors. Must have the ability to read/review work prints and determine materials necessary for winding. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ability to operate machinery to wind coils used in electrical equipment and instruments. Use of measuring devices (i.e.: ruler, micrometer, venier, etc.), hand tools, and testing devices (i.e.: megger, volt meter, etc.). Understands how to take connections data and develop wiring diagrams. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Experience, Skills, and Qualifications: Prior department leadership experience. High school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to meet certain certifications in the field and to have at least 2 - 4 years of experience. Ability to read/follow verbal work instructions and complete required documents. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
