Position overview: The role is accountable for managing crane/labor vendor onboarding, tendering, contract management, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations. This includes partnering with internal teams, negotiating contracts, and ensuring supplier qualifications meet the company's standards. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience, and a keen knowledge of project needs and compliance requirements. Travel required for this role is up to 20%. Relocation will not be offered for this role. Responsibilities: Contractor Onboarding & Qualification: Assist local operations teams to identify and onboard new suppliers as needed. Coordinates with the Supplier Qualification and Development (SQD) team to ensure that qualification requirements are met and secures necessary qualifications for both critical and non-critical services. Ensures vendors are set up in procurement systems such as Ariba and SAP, and comply with all SGRE procurement standards. Negotiates frame contracts and tariffs, including commercial and legal terms tailored for the specific scenario. Tender & Contract Management: Leads the entire labor/crane contractor bidding process. Recommends the best procurement strategies based on project needs, location, volume, and technical complexity. Takes ownership of monitoring the budget and proactively informs the Management team of any variances. Develops and presents a commodity strategy. Finalizes contracts with selected suppliers, ensuring commercial and legal terms are properly reviewed. Assists claim management activities. Compliance: Ensures compliance with SGRE procurement governance policies and procedures. Ensures adherence to country-specific and site-specific regulatory requirements. Required Knowledge/ Skills, Education, and Experience: Must have minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Minimum education required is bachelor’s degree.
