As a Plumbing Engineer , you will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to assist with the design, installation, and maintenance of plumbing systems across a variety of projects. You will gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to the delivery of high-quality plumbing solutions, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet all regulatory and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and planning of plumbing systems for both new and existing buildings, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. Conduct site inspections to assess plumbing systems and ensure proper functionality and quality control. Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to integrate plumbing systems into building designs. Prepare plumbing drawings, schematics, and system specifications using CAD software. Conduct troubleshooting and assist with the resolution of plumbing issues during both construction and maintenance phases. Assist with the preparation of reports, cost estimates, and project documentation. Ensure that all plumbing work complies with health and safety standards, environmental guidelines, and relevant legislation. Contribute to the development and implementation of water and energy-efficient systems. Key Requirements: A degree or equivalent qualification in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience working as a Plumbing Engineer or in a related role. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, heating, and cooling systems. Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) for creating plumbing schematics and system designs. Understanding of plumbing codes, building regulations, and safety standards. Good problem-solving skills with an ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop professionally. Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) for plumbing system design. Familiarity with sustainable plumbing practices and water efficiency solutions. Understanding of energy-efficient systems such as solar thermal heating or rainwater harvesting.
