Danfoss is looking for a Senior Specialist in Logistics. Job Responsibilities Handle and have a good understanding of basic logistics and supply chain management processes. Hands-on experience in Import & Export Operations. Manage customs brokers, forwarders, and trade-related service partners. Better understanding in HS code derivations, foreign trade policies, and export incentives. Experience in handling customs queries and making visits to customs and ports to meet officers whenever needed. Handle vendor management, transportation, customer follow-up, and dispatch of material. Planning, tracking, and monitoring high volume of inbound and outbound shipments. Communicate with customers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders regarding shipments. Create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers. Knowledge in A-to-Z warehouse operation (inbound, outbound to production & outbound to customer) and insurance claim processes. Work with various internal and external logistics partners to timely transfer and arrange the delivery of parts to the right locations. Sound knowledge of sales order dispatch, bill/invoice documents, and related challans. Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggest improvements to increase the efficiency of the supply chain and profitability for the company. Strategically plan logistics, warehouse, picking, packing, transportation, and customer services. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets. Budgeting and maintenance of operation costs. Manage logistics services providers to ensure performance in accordance with agreed KPIs. Strong business understanding, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills. Ability to motivate, maintain, and develop an effective team. Qualifications Graduate with 5-6 years relevant experience in the field of logistics, preferably from the manufacturing industry. Diploma/BE in Logistics or SCM would be preferred. Proficiency in SAP, Excel, MS Word, and emails. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Working logically and systematically as per the company process. Immediate joining would be preferred.
