As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within our energy generation facilities. You’ll interpret blueprints, ensure adherence to electrical codes and safety standards, and utilize diagnostic tools to test and troubleshoot systems. This role will be located in Shafter, CA . Job Description Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in energy generation facilities, including solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources. Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support project implementation and improvements. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in various environments, including outdoor and industrial settings. Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems. Assist in training and mentoring apprentices and junior electricians. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inventory. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in energy generation, electrical infrastructure or related field and a valid journeyman electrician license. Possesses strong knowledge of electrical theory, codes, and safety regulations, with specific expertise in electrical safety standards such as NFPA 70E and NEC2024. Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment, demonstrating excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication in both verbal and written formats and can work independently or as part of a team. Pay Rate: $38.00 - $40.00 an hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
