Summary Description: The BD Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving lead generation, evaluating bid opportunities, and managing sales opportunities within Salesforce. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, sales acumen, and Salesforce proficiency to provide support to our Business Development Managers and maximize revenue potential. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Support the BD Manager team across the sales lifecycle from origination through contract closing. Implement strategies to generate leads through market research, networking, and outreach efforts. Identify potential customers and decision-makers within target markets. Utilize Salesforce and other tools to track and manage lead generation activities, ensuring timely follow-up and nurturing of leads. Monitor bid platforms and industry publications to identify relevant bid opportunities. Evaluate bid requirements, specifications, and deadlines to determine alignment with company capabilities and objectives. Assist BD team in documenting opportunity details, submitting estimate requests. Ensure accuracy and completeness of opportunity data, maintaining up-to-date records throughout the sales lifecycle. Key Qualifications & Required Skills/Abilities 1-2 years of experience in the commercial solar industry (preferred) or similar technical field. Knowledge and understanding of grid-tied solar PV Systems and other renewable energy technologies. Experience selling renewable energy solutions into the real estate industry. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation and data management. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Strong organizational skills, able to support multiple concurrent projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills/mindset. Excellent time management skills - ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate. Confident and capable of holding others accountable. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
