About the role: We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Maintenance to join our solar panel recycling team in Odessa, TX. Our Odessa recycling factory is a multi-shift, manufacturing operation consisting of several buildings located on our property. The Senior Manager, Maintenance will lead a team of line maintenance technicians supporting our recycling lines and equipment, as well as general facilities maintenance and upkeep as needed. Responsibilities: Supervise, grow, and mature a team of line maintenance technicians on multiple shifts that maintain and improve manufacturing equipment. Monitor the condition of property, facilities, and equipment; proactively identify maintenance needs and establish standard maintenance procedures and work. Establish/drive continuous improvement metrics via a preventative maintenance program to optimize planned vs unplanned downtime on the manufacturing equipment. Establish and drive a cost reduction program from a process, equipment, and maintenance shop perspective. Regularly meet with Production and Engineering teammates to plan and monitor maintenance and capital improvement projects. Establish, improve, and drive compliance with all operational safety policies, procedures, and protocols. Identify and implement a new computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and drive maintenance efficiencies through the IT systems. Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary, coordinate and administer vendor contracts. Develop and implement audit programs for mechanical systems. Undertake corrective action resulting from system audits. Provide regular reports on the status of maintenance metrics and programs. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does have supervisory responsibilities. Education, Training and Professional Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in Factory maintenance or other related fields. 4 to 6 years of experience in a supervisory/lead capacity in maintenance. Strong computer skills, including typing speed > 50 words per minute and extensive background in configuring, implementing and supporting digital maintenance systems. Strong communication skills, both verbally and technically. Advanced experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Advanced electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Strong programmatic and methodical approach to problem solving. Familiarity with Factory maintenance tools and equipment. Ability to handle lifting items to 75 lbs. Deadline and detail-oriented. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required. Able to meet the physical demands of the job. J-18808-Ljbffr
