ORC is seeking a full-time, exempt Right of Way Agent to work on projects based out of Arizona. The selected candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of Tucson, AZ, and will have flexibility to work remotely from their home office but will be expected to travel locally about 50% of the time. What you will be doing: As a Right of Way Agent, you will acquire right of way rights per project guidelines and regulations for transmission line projects in support of the Project Manager (PM) or members of the project team. Duties include preparing real estate documents, performing basic property research for ownership and boundary information, and communicating with property owners and their representatives for the acquisition of right of way. You will be responsible for performing general administrative work including but not limited to preparing legal documents, reports and correspondence, attending meetings, entering and retrieving computer data, copying and filing documents for file management, verbal and written communications with customers, customer service and related functions. The employee is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This role requires the employee to occasionally travel to meet with clients or vendors which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations.
