Our vibrant capital city is the cultural heart of the American South. The Opportunity: Four Seasons Atlanta is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to join our exciting Engineering team. The Assistant Director of Engineering will assist the Director of Engineering in all aspects of hotel and building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, and interior decoration. Essential Functions: Assist in the hiring, training, supervision, scheduling, counseling, and evaluation of performance of maintenance staff. Ensure proper execution of work order/request system. Prepare requisitions for purchase and work orders. Implement preventive maintenance schedules and policies. Maintain logs on movement of stock items and tools. Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Work Rules and Standards of Conduct. Work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors. Actively support the Safety Committee. Support the energy conservation program. Maintain close working relations with hotel contractors for emergency service. Assist with maintenance of firefighting equipment and emergency procedures.
