The Role Cypress Creek Renewables seeks a Senior Warranty/OEM Manager with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Renewable Energy services and/or field operations support with a focus on managing supplier deliverables. Duties will include supporting all operational plants within the work order management system, inventory management systems, supplier warranty claim systems, and management of the end-to-end supplier post installation deliverables to minimize site or component downtime. Core Competencies Experience with servicing utility-scale solar photovoltaic, energy storage or similar renewables systems Exceptional organizational, communication, decision making/problem solving, analytical and time management skills Team player with strong initiative, able to work autonomously to complete tasks Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment Ability to build supplier relationships across all levels of their organization Ability to define, negotiate and execute maintenance contracts and Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) Experience working with and managing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Direct experience in the logistics and operations in a large scale utility service environment, including a working knowledge of servicing power generation equipment Understanding of OSHA and other workplace safety requirements Principal Duties and Responsibilities Specific duties will include: OEM Warranty Management and Support: Represent the Cypress Creek Solutions organization in resolution of critical warranty claims or post installation support Submit and manage warranty claims or support requests on behalf of field personnel Ensure timely delivery of supplier deliverables to meet Return to Service and Availability targets Develop escalation paths within key suppliers Service Agreement Strategies: Analyze and define LTSA strategies to minimize risk and reduce costs Collaborate with senior field personnel on execution of maintenance contracts associated with OEMs Hold suppliers accountable for meeting terms of contracts Supplier selection strategies: Analyze supplier problem resolution performance against their peers Provide feedback to the Sourcing and Engineering teams in supplier selection of new installations based on supplier performance on active projects Support of 3rd Party Owner/Operators Fulfil contract terms related to supplier support for Cypress Creek's O&M customers Be a primary point of contact for 3rd party customers regarding supplier support escalation Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience Proven experience (7 years) in field operations within the renewable energy sector Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive performance standards of our suppliers Direct experience in managing supplier deliverables under time sensitive constraints Proficiency in CMMS and ERP systems (Salesforce, Powerfactors, Netsuite, Sitetracker, Excel) is a plus Commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic and challenging environment Candidates with Six Sigma or Lean training will be given additional consideration Ability to support occasional travel to project sites or customer facilities The Senior OEM/Warranty Manager works directly with suppliers and field personnel throughout the US and therefore remote applicants will be considered. They must have the ability to obtain unescorted access to NERC/CIP facilities and must have the ability and willingness to travel and work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends. Compensation: The salary range for the position is $90,000 - $130,000 plus bonus and benefits. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
