We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join a large team working on one of the most exciting projects in the US in the renewable energy sector. The role focuses on the technical support and oversight of wind farm development projects across the United States, with occasional support to other markets. This role involves managing project construction, conducting technical due diligence, and ensuring alignment with contracts, permits, and industry best practices. Duties and Responsibilities Perform technical due diligence on wind, solar, and transmission projects during development and construction phases. Review construction documents for completeness and compliance with interconnect agreements, purchase agreements, land leases, and environmental permits. Support early development projects with constructability reviews, pricing, and engineering feasibility studies. Collaborate with preconstruction and development teams to solicit and award construction services for various projects. Negotiate and administer construction contracts with EPC contractors, construction managers, and equipment suppliers, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met. Manage project interfaces with major equipment suppliers and oversee coordination of responsibilities between contractors and suppliers. Oversee project execution to ensure safety, quality, cost control, and adherence to the project schedule. Act as the lead negotiator for project scope and scheduling with key stakeholders. Maintain project interfaces with utility providers, ensuring documentation and updates align with interconnect and purchase agreements. Supervise third-party engineering teams, focusing on equipment design and performance, and manage reviews from Independent or Owner’s Engineers. Prepare and present regular progress reports for Pattern management and project lenders, supporting financing due diligence as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. 8 years of progressively responsible experience in the power industry, with substantial wind energy experience; solar and transmission experience a plus. Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects on time and within budget, with prior field experience highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction contracts and basic engineering concepts, especially related to transmission, SCADA systems, and distribution equipment. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight schedules. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with knowledge of project scheduling applications (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) a plus. Demonstrated budget management experience and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Ability to travel approximately 30-50% across North America. J-18808-Ljbffr
