Geo-Logic Associates (GLA) is a privately-held, multidisciplinary, geologic, geotechnical, hydrogeologic, civil, and environmental consulting firm. Our highly experienced professionals manage projects through 28 US office locations and an office in Peru. GLA is currently seeking an experienced full-time Staff Civil/Environmental Engineer to support civil/site infrastructure, solid waste, and environmental remediation projects. Projects will focus on solid waste facility siting, design, and permitting, and may also include general civil and geotechnical design, stormwater design, closure and redevelopment, environmental remediation, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities: Assisting project managers and collaborating with team members Understanding regulatory requirements Collecting and analyzing data Reviewing plans and specifications Preparing engineering calculations and supporting analyses Writing reports Developing scopes and budgets Attending client meetings Job Reference: STCH-CEE-424 Required Qualifications: Bachelors of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related field 0-5 years of previous work experience in solid waste management, site/civil, and stormwater design Ability to work on multidisciplinary project work in a team environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Self-starter and problem solver Excellent organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, AutoCAD, HydroCAD, ArcGIS software, and/or other engineering software Be eligible to work in the United States Possess a valid driver’s license Benefits: GLA offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and 401(k) retirement plan and profit sharing.
