Responsibilities:As an Entry to Mid-Level Water Resources Engineer at Environmental Consulting & Technology (ECT), you will play an integral role in supporting and advancing water resource projects for public utilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the planning, permitting and development of water projects which may include new or upgraded water infrastructure, such as collection systems, pumping stations, and treatment processes.
- Supporting the development of detailed plans and specifications, ensuring that designs meet project goals and are aligned with best engineer practices for water management.
- Conducting field investigations, site assessments, and data collection to inform project development and ensure accuracy and completeness in project planning. Provide contractor oversight to ensure quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assisting in the preparation of technical reports, studies, and project documentation, clearly communicating findings, calculations, design details, and recommendations to stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in water resources engineering
- Knowledge of water treatment processes, conveyance, and related infrastructure is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel.
- AutoCAD and GIS skills are preferred.
- EIT certification or anticipated
- Strong communication, organizational and technical writing skills.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
