Overview:Environmental Consulting & Technology (ECT) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Mid to Senior-Level Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position plays a key leadership role within our water resources business line, providing expert technical support and management across a wide range of projects related to public utilities. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in water resources engineering, with a focus on designing, evaluating, and improving water systems for municipalities and other public entities As an employee-owned company, each team member has an integral role in our success and a direct impact on the future of our company. Responsibilities:- Lead and manage water resources projects from inception through completion, ensuring high-quality technical deliverables and compliance with regulations.
- Work closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and technical and regulatory requirements are met.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional development of the team.
- Participate in project planning, design, and execution, including budget management, scheduling, and scope definition.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, presentations, and proposals for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams within the company to integrate water resources engineering solutions with other environmental and infrastructure needs.
- Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes related to water resources.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in water resources engineering, with a strong focus on public works projects.
- PE license required.
- Demonstrated expertise in water resources engineering
- Proven leadership and technical management skills.
