SUMMARYProvides leadership, supervision, and coaching to subordinates, while maintaining overall operations and improvement of the department. Manages daily operations, expands future business, analyzes and corrects problems that arise, supports subordinates' growth, coordinates activities and supports customer needs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Supports the company business, operational, financial and environmental objectives
- Contributes to the definition, implementation and monitoring of safety guidelines
- Communicates company policies to Asst. Mgr./Group Leaders/Team Leaders
- Provides direction in the development of environmental objectives, targets and programs
- Monitors overall EMS performance
- Assures regulatory compliance
- Assures continuous improvement
- Uses PC - word processing, spreadsheets, databases, communications, Internet
- Responsible for enforcement of disciplinary action.
- Coordinates vendor activities
- Establishes or adjusts work assignments to coordinate flow of material
- Recommends measures to improve methods and equipment performance
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency
- Assists Group Leaders in solving work problems
- Instructs and guides other employees in preparing monthly report
- Reviews monthly customer report, which documents all business activities of all programs
- Ensures that the company's established procedures are followed.
- Contributes to the organization through others and their specific technical expertise.
- Reports to General Manager.
- Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIREDHigh School Diploma and associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, and two years of related experience and/or training preferably in facilities or equivalent combination of education and experience.
