About the Role
At Uber, we are determined to have the most positive impact possible and want to accelerate our transition to a zero emissions, zero waste platform that helps create more livable urban environments around the world. We have already [committed](https://www.theclimatepledge.com/) to become a net zero carbon business by 2040 and plan to go much further, much faster.
To get there we've determined a number of interim steps. By 2030 we will get to zero emissions on Mobility in all major US, Canadian, and European cities, and 100% of Delivery restaurants orders will be using reusable, recyclable or compostable packaging options globally. More detail on our commitments and our plan can be found [here](https://www.uber.com/gb/en/about/sustainability/).
