SUMMARY

Assist guests and employees with parking efficiently. Greet guests coming to Grand Targhee Resort. Collect, sort and store recycling and trash in specific public areas. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain, help organize and keep order in all parking lots. Assist in directing guests and employees to appropriate parking locations.
Collect solid materials from recycle and trash containers in resort common areas as directed.
Separate and store recycle materials as directed.
Exhibit a professional, courteous and friendly attitude at all times.
Assist with other duties as required.
Flexible working hours. Some job sharing required.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:

1. Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests at all times.

2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.

3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.

4. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.

5. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.

6. Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED. No prior work experience or training required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Have the ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Have the ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

None required.

REASONING ABILITY

Be able to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear. Be able to see oncoming traffic from various directions and properly direct traffic to an appropriate location.
