Overview
The Director of Sustainability Reporting and Engagement with Primo Brands will play a critical role in advancing our growth strategy by leading the accurate quantification and reporting of our sustainability initiatives. This role requires technical expertise in emerging global ESG regulations, oversight of data collection and controls, and ensuring compliance with public company reporting requirements, including CSRD, SEC, and relevant local regulations. You will be responsible for timely submissions of the company Sustainability Report, CDP submission and other reporting as requested. This role will collaborate across the business, with department heads and other internal functions, as well as external stakeholders such as suppliers, NGO's, and reporting agencies. The role will also support the continued evolution of our Sustainability strategy, ensuring we keep pace with industry best practice and increasing assurance requirements.

Responsibilities
Job Requirements - Own end-to-end ESG data collection and management strategy and process.
- Establish and maintain appropriate internal controls, governance, and policies and procedures to ensure high integrity and auditable outputs.
- Develop comprehensive program plans that define the scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required for each Sustainability initiative under the Chief Sustainability Officer. Focus includes water stewardship, circular packaging, and climate action, in addition to orchestrating the work being done to positively impact the diverse communities served.
- Collaborate with corporate, factory and branch teams to validate and analyze data collected from multiple sources. Ensure accuracy and completeness, applying rigorous calculations and industry-accepted methodologies to measure ESG reporting (such as GHG emissions). This includes adherence to CSRD, SEC, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) standards.
- Maintain appropriate documentation to satisfy internal control requirements.
- Develop project timelines for data reporting, manage deliverables to meet external deadlines, and drive continuous improvement in data processes, systems, and management.
- Lead engagement with internal and external assurance providers, ratings agency and other regulated bodies with whom Primo Brands Sustainability data is shared.
- Stay updated on latest ESG regulations, industry trends, and reporting frameworks. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on evolving issues and best practices related to ESG data assurance and reporting.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, the board of directors, and key stakeholders, summarizing sustainability performance, trends, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sciences more broadly, business administration, or similar fields.
- Master's degree in Sustainability, MBA or JD, or related technical fields strongly preferred.
- 7-8 years of relevant experience in corporate sustainability and ESG reporting.
- Robust technical understanding of relevant mandatory and voluntary reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, ESRS and TDFC), rating agencies (MSCI, S&P, CSA, CDP, etc) and standards
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders to implement processes and technologies that reduce an organization's carbon footprint.
- Must be inquisitive, resourceful, and self-motivated with a strategic, proactive mindset. Should be comfortable creating structure in dynamic or undefined environments.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues systematically and develop corrective actions that address root causes.
- Experience leading data governance
- Experience leading third part data assurance process
- Computer proficient with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, Tableau, or Power BI.
- The ability to learn and understand programs is necessary.
- Valid Driver's License
