Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- Implementing best practices to ensure that employees are working safely on the jo while performing transportation duties.
- Collection of samples from pre-employment, pre-access, post-accident, return to duty, etc.
- Maintains business relationships with vendors and clients to support the training and safety needs of the company's workforce.
- Overseeing incident management which includes care management of injured person, securement of the incident scene to preserve evidence, formation of an investigation team through investigation, root cause analysis, recommendation of corrective actions to prevent future incidents, communication of incident learnings, partnership with operations and clients throughout investigations, and follow up with implemented corrective actions through to closure.
- Ensuring the company is in compliance with all government laws, regulations, and codes.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of information that may be imparted by employees, customers, and coworkers.
- Driving a robust safety culture.
- Assuring adherence to company HSE policies and procedures,
- Other authorities as assigned by the HSE Director.
Licensing/Registration/Certification:Preferred: OSHA 511., MSHA Blue Card (Underground and/or Surface), Safe land/PEC Trainer.
Experience: 5+ years DOT inspection, auditing and/or Safety Inspection
