Energy Management Analyst and take the lead in optimizing energy use across our properties. In this dynamic role, you'll develop and implement conservation initiatives, analyze utility data, and identify cost-saving opportunities-all while improving energy performance and making a real impact in the community.
At the Vancouver Housing Authority (VHA) we work closely with local governments and other community partners throughout Clark County to address issues of affordable housing and homelessness and help families break the cycle of poverty. We provide affordable housing and housing assistance to low-income residents in Clark County.
Your skills and experience will support our mission as you: - Implement and manage VHA's energy systems and conservation programs
- Conduct building audits, analyze energy usage, and recommend efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with Washington State Clean Buildings laws and sustainability best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive sustainability initiatives
- Research funding opportunities, including grants and rebates, to support energy projects
Pay and Benefits- The starting salary range for this position is $33.86 - $37.25 per hour based on experience. In compliance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act, the full salary range for this position is $33.86 - $50.79 per hour.
- Full-time, non-exempt, union-represented position working 40 hours per week on-site, Monday - Friday.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, systems management, business/public administration, or a related field from an accredited institution preferred.
- At least two years of experience coordinating energy conservation programs, operating computerized energy management systems, or managing utilities for large, multi-facility organizations required.
- Experience working in a public agency or government setting.
- Familiarity with housing-related energy management, including utility compliance and resource conservation programs.
- Valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and fewer than 3 moving violations within the last 3 years.
