Primary Duties: - Serve as the primary contact for all regulatory agencies associated with the environment, health, safety, and transportation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain programs and procedures to comply with federal, state, and local regulations related to the environment, health, safety, and transportation.
- Manage a staff of one (1) or more employees to include an EHS Coordinator
- Actively participate as a member of the Pilkington North America EHS Management Team reporting to the North America Regional Manager.
- Participate in the development and implementation of global and regional emphasis programs to reduce or eliminate hazards, including the preparation of status reports showing progress of these efforts.
- Serve as the primary resource and subject matter expert for all internal inquiries related to environmental, health, safety, and transportation for 80+ worksites throughout North America.
- Identify, coordinate, and manage all training required by federal, state, and local regulators, as well as any training required by Pilkington North America related to environment, health, safety, and transportation.
- Oversee all investigations of workplace injuries, accidents, and near miss incidents and ensure the findings are reported to the appropriate internal and external entities (management, legal, workers compensation third party administrator, auto liability carrier, etc.).
- Manage of workers' compensation and auto liability claims.
- Collect, record, and prepare reporting of key metrics to meet local, regional, and global reporting requirements.
- Lead efforts to achieve all company environmental, health, and safety objectives and targets, including injury rates, motor vehicle accident rates, carbon emission rates, etc.
- Conduct all business affairs in accordance with Pilkington's business philosophy, Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics compliance.

Qualifications Required:- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
- Five to Seven years' experience in an EHS management position in a manufacturing or a warehousing & distribution setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels and all functions within the organization.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic competencies
- Available for occasional travel to locations for review (approximately 5% of the time).
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Practical working experience with behavioral based safety programs.
Qualifications Desired:- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
