The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team provides real estate transaction expertise, business partnering, space & occupancy planning, design and construction, capital investment program management and facility maintenance and operations for Amazon's corporate office portfolio across multiple countries. We partner with suppliers to ensure quality, innovation and operational excellence with Amazon's business and utilize customer driven feedback to continuously improve and exceed employee expectations.
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Sustainability Reporting Manager to own business-unit level reporting, due diligence, and compliance projects for GREF. This individual will work closely with GREF ESG Senior Manager and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-impact sustainability reporting and due diligence outputs.
The ideal candidate is an experienced and engaging professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial culture - providing vision, leadership, and communication - not afraid to dive deep into details and take ownership. They should also understand the nuance of being approachable, while at the same time consultative- providing direction/recommendations and fostering transparent relationships. The candidate must be able to balance frugality with creativity in offering solutions and approach problem-solving with an emphasis on root cause. An ideal candidate is able to navigate high level of ambiguity and demonstrate a bias for action, taking calculated risks in a fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
• Oversee the collection, analysis, and internal reporting of GREF sustainability data in a manner that ensures data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reporting.
• Lead due diligence reviews and compliance assessments for ESG-related initiatives, policies, and disclosures. Manage regulatory outlook solution. Identify and address any gaps or issues.
• Work closely with internal Sustainability, Compliance, Legal, and Finance teams as well as GREF stakeholders to align on reporting requirements, data sources, and process improvements.
• Deliver high-quality, impactful reports that meet both internal and external stakeholder needs. Continuously improve reporting processes and outputs. Review and improve systems and tools to drive efficiency and consistency.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to GREF teams on reporting, due diligence, and compliance matters across sustainability and social responsibility.
• Liaise with external vendor partners and third-party assurance providers as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 6+ years of experience in sustainability reporting, ESG, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of global ESG reporting frameworks and regs (e.g., GRI, ISSB)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
