joining technology in their body shop. This position is
Direct Hire,
M-F 1 st shift.
Must be able to work OT and/or weekends as needed. The
pay range is $72,000 - $126,000 depending on experience. Possible relocation assistance!

What You Need: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant degree required.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (joining/gluing equipment)
- Kuka KRC 4 robot experience
- Sealer technology knowledge and experience (namely Intec Sealer)
- 3D-CAD experience such as: SolidWorks, Catia, Siemens NX, ect.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and skills
What Your Role Will Look Like: The
Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for monitoring technology performance. This role involves performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing equipment performance to support manufacturing processes. The maintenance engineer will collaborate with other technical and production teams to enhance system reliability, efficiency and quality of the product.
- Develops best practices to improve equipment capacity, quality and reliability
- Develops planning standards, methods, and procedures to maintain robust PM, TPM processes as well as robust containments and countermeasures for equipment downtime
- Ensures equipment uptime, MTTR, MTBF, and OEE by relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols for the operation and maintenance of laser and glue systems.
- Ensures that highly technical equipment meets required specifications and high-quality standards
- Evaluates current production activities and drives improvements
- Investigates complex problems, analyzes root causes and derives resolutions. Will use 8D Problem Solving Process to ensure sustainable quality products.
- Train and support less experienced engineers and team members.
- Participates in budget preparation and monitor expenses and profitability
- Proposes and manages medium-scale projects from beginning to end. May scope and manage large capital investment projects (>$5M)
- Repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment, machinery, or instruments in cooperation with internal and external staff to ensure that it functions reliably and complies with process specifications.
- Equipment buy-offs
- Leading Asset care program for the respective technology: spare parts strategy, backup strategies, documentation, improvement strategies, etc.
- Responsible for coordinating activities (PM's, TPM, problem solving) of third-party contractors, vendors, or suppliers related to the maintenance field.
- Collaborates and takes over responsibilities with other departments in preparing scope of work including project requirements, milestones, deliverables, end products, documents and reports that are expected to be provided by external providers.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and ensure continuous improvement
- Keep up to date with industry best practices and safety guidelines
- Will perform other duties as assigned
