The Hospitality Operations Manager is responsible for Hospitality Services for one or more metro hospitals and works collaboratively with metro hospitality teams to ensure that services are delivered to the highest standards with the most effective use of resources. Provides primary leadership for Cafeteria, PERKS, Conference Center, Catering, Environmental Services, PAL, Linen and Laundry and Valet Services INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
ResponsibilitiesThe Hospitality Operations Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
* Implements goals, tactics, and plans for Hospitality Services to ensure quality and service levels are of the highest standards.
* Manages hospitality subsystems in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including but not limited to NFPA, JCAHO and State and County Health departments.
* Manages financial resources for area of responsibility, recommends capital needs and documents cost effectiveness, payback, cost/benefit, and return on investment
* Responsible for development and implementation of Quality Assurance Plan for Hospitality Services
* Manages department staff including hiring, training, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed
* Develops, executes, and monitors capital and operating budgets and coordinates key processes of operational and capital budget planning
* Guides Food Service Managers in the development of menus for retail, catering, and event planning, within cost and system constraints and client acceptance
* Develops, implements, and maintains policies and procedures for area of responsibility
* Oversees inventory, purchasing, and disbursement of related supplies and conducts monthly physical inventory
* Manages department staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating performance and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed The Hospitality Operations Manager reports to the Director of Hospitality Services or assigned manager. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Management, Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent comparable experience.
- Masters degree preferred.
- 5 years managerial experience in EVS/Housekeeping or 15 years in Hospitality industry
