Position Description:
Wade Trim NY, PC is seeking one worker for the position of Water Resources Professional Engineer with the following duties:
1. Provide technical planning, design & construction support on various wet weather projects that may include combined sewer overflow, collection system, pump station, water,stormwater, hydrologic & hydraulic models &/or other wastewater projects: • Lead & delegate these duties-5% • Lead & independently perform structural design & analysis on projects-13%• Lead safety design standards for use in projects-5% • Independently prepare design reports & construction plans using local & state standards-2% • Independently review & interpretplans & specifications-1% • Independently perform CFD modeling with 3D Hydro & Flow 3D software-1% • Maintain Professional Engineer licensing through required licensing hours &state-by-state requirements to maintain the same-1% • Independently oversee, manage, & supervise other engineers on all aspects of engineering work for varying projects-5% • Sign,stamp, & seal project documents as Professional Engineer under licensing laws by state-1% • Oversee project quality control, & QA/QC process-1% • Supervise subconsultant &subcontractor activities, including engaging in contracting process-1% • Oversee & approve deliverables to client-1% • Lead as a Project Manager-6% • Independently manage projectsfrom commencement to project completion-1%; 2. Prepare engineering calculations & supporting analysis of alternatives: • Independently performs these job duties-5%; 3. Prepare &evaluate wet weather control alternatives • Independently prepare & evaluate wet weather structural alternatives -3%; 4. Develop & complete applications, permits, engineering reports &specifications: • Independently develop & complete specifications-3% • Independently oversee the development & completion of applications, permits, engineering reports & specifications-2%; 5. Prepare design cost estimates: • Independently prepare & review engineering cost estimates-7%; 6. Prepare & review scope, budget & schedule for project tasks: • Independentlyperforms these job duties-1% • Independently maintains & manages project budgets from commencement to project completion-1%; 7. Monitor task budget & progress: • Independentlyperforms these job duties-2%; 8. Conduct on-site inspections as needed: • Independently performs these job duties-1%; • Lead field work, oversee tasks of field work, coordinate withsubcontractors & other staff-4%; 9. Prepare project status & other reports: • Independently prepare project status & more complex reports-4%; 10. Assist with proposals, marketing, projectreports & technical presentations: • Independently provides project reports & technical presentations to assist marketing-3%; 11. Attend various meetings including pre-design, plan review,pre-construction, professional organization, staff, etc.: • As Professional Engineer provide professional recommendations at client, public, project, & staff meetings including client progress,plan review, pre-construction, community involvement meetings, etc.-3%; • Provide advice & opinions as a Professional Engineer-1%; 12. Attend &/or conduct client & project meetings-1%;13. Maintain excellent client relations-2%; 14. Maintain a safe working environment-1%; 15. Attend seminars &/or training classes-3%; 16. Prepare & review engineer estimates-2%; 17.Conduct research & development for projects-2% 18. Communicate project details with other design engineers: • Independently oversee & communicate design changes to subconsultants& designers to ensure changes are implemented correctly-2%; 19. Conduct project cost reviews: • Independently conduct project cost reviews, invoicing, & administration-1%; 20. Promotesales: • Assist with pursuit & capture plans. Promoting Wade Trim externally-2%

5. This worker will not directly supervise other workers.
6. Position requires Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited college / university, 48 months' experience in Civil Engineering including advancedstructural design experience and a Professional Engineer license from the State of New York. Experience can be gained concurrently with experience required for Professional Engineerlicense.
The following skills / tools are also required:
AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM and Revit;
Ability to train staff in use of Revit;
OSHA 30
