What You'll Do Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers, strategic energy partners, and regulatory consultants, including utilities, energy suppliers, renewable energy developers, regulatory bodies, and industry associations. Develop and execute an annual business plan for the promotion and sale of Tensar Solutions. Assist and support the qualification of Tensar proprietary systems by successfully implementing bid strategies to close business. Identify, establish, and manage large key accounts within the Renewable Energy Sector to leverage Tensar products and services. Represent Tensar Engineered Solutions on assigned jobsites during installation and ensure installation is being performed as designed. Frequent collaboration with Market and Account Based Sales Director and Area Sales Directors to generate a monthly sales forecast for manufacturing and revenue generation purposes. Interaction with key geotechnical engineering companies within the market to routinely leverage Tensar Solutions on large ground improvement applications common to construction of renewable energy facilities and transmission lines. Promote Tensar as an industry leader through strong relationships with market specific industry bodies, institutions, and academic bodies. Educate and promote alternate bid strategies incorporating proprietary Tensar solutions. Serve as main POC with strategic accounts focused on the renewable energy market. Generate monthly reports to the Area Director to track key projects in each sector and forecast sales for manufacturing. Develop deep market knowledge to help direct company strategy in existing products as well as new products. Define specification strategy to develop a strong position for Tensar in the market. Develop and maintain competitive technology comparisons to highlight the benefits of Tensar/Geopier systems. What You'll Need Experience with strategic business planning and account planning and development experience with CRM, cost reporting, and scheduling software. Comprehensive understanding of the sales process. Ability to identify emerging industry and business trends, and to proactively identify strategic opportunities from those emerging trends. Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce, and cost reporting. Ability to build interpersonal relationships and work through resources to accomplish objectives required. Ability to work independently and with a team, detail oriented, interpersonal and negotiation skills and customer relations abilities. Demonstrates buying/selling skills & product knowledge. Knowledge of Tensar’s Systems and Products. Your Education Bachelor Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related degree is preferred. An alternative, BA in Marketing or Business Admin with experience in heavy civil construction or earthwork construction. Advanced Degree (MBA or MS) preferred.
