Overview of Position: We are looking for individuals with a passion for the environment to join our direct sales team as a Sales Administrator to support our sales team. Candidates must have basic sales experience and must be able to manage the sales process from lead generation to contract signature. This position offers commissions for those that are qualified, dedicated, and able to manage deals. Only self-motivated individuals with a solid work ethic needed, must be willing to work long hours and be able to handle a startup environment, requiring an extra mile on a daily basis. Office is in Costa Mesa and some traveling will be required. You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue. Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities: Research properties and using public information to find the decision maker. Keeping CRM up to date; Salesforce.com a huge plus. Slack and Asana experience preferred to manage daily communications and reports. Assist the Sales department with miscellaneous tasks. Maintain relationships and updating current clients on projects. Writing correspondence between client and state organizations. Participate and assist on project calls. Site visits. Assisting with contracts. Prospect and contact potential customers. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints. Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments. Coordinate with sales and engineering departments on project statuses. Account management. Qualifications: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields. Familiarity with CRM platforms. Ability to build rapport with clients. Attention to detail. Spreadsheet experience is a plus. Strong negotiation skills. Deadline and detail-oriented. Education and Experience: Knowledge of relevant computer applications, office, mail, word, PowerPoint. Knowledge of principles and practices of sales. Knowledge of customer service principles.
