We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a liaison between employees/managers of a business unit, division, or profit center and the human resources function. As a Trex Human Resources Business Partner, you will be looked to as an innovator and expected to play an important role in the support and development of our existing leadership, as well as future leaders. The successful candidate will exercise a wide degree of creativity, latitude, and expertise within these specific HR functional disciplines. This role is a key member of our Human Resources team. RESPONSIBILITIES Put safety first - always. Lead and foster our "people first" culture. Engage with key stakeholders to understand business needs and create solutions that are executable. Be a problem solver, advise staff on all personnel issues, create and implement objectives under minimal direction. Assist with the performance management process and link results to employee development initiatives. Provide employee relations support for multiple professional groups as required, including but not limited to performance improvement plans, mediation, and employee development. Tie data together from sources such as exit interviews, performance reviews, engagement survey, and other sources to create improvement and engagement initiatives. Partner with operations leaders in identifying high-potential employees across the organization through methods such as performance calibration as well as more qualitative methods. Assist in recruiting or administration of compensation and benefit programs. Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor. EXPERIENCE Required: Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, in lieu of a degree eight years of human resource experience is required. Four or more years of experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner with a focus on employee relations and development programs. Strong project management skills. Proven experience in working with confidential information and handling sensitive issues. Understanding of how to pull, analyze and influence data. Preferred: PHR/SHRM certification is preferred. Experience working in a manufacturing industry is strongly preferred. BASE SALARY RANGE: $80,000-$110,000 annually The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual and/or sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
