We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Maintenance and Reliability to help us track and analyze production losses and abnormally high maintenance costs. As a Trex Sr. Manager, Maintenance and Reliability, you will be looked to as an innovator in the manufacturing process and expected to develop and implement plans to eliminate or reduce losses through root cause analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES Put safety first - Always Lead and foster our "people first" culture. Loss Elimination Track and analyze production losses and abnormally high maintenance costs. Prioritize and focus efforts on the largest/most critical loss reduction opportunities. Develop and implement plans to eliminate or reduce losses through root cause analysis. Collaborate with the operations team to facilitate solution implementation. Risk Management Lead risk management initiatives to achieve strategic objectives in environmental health and safety, asset capability, quality, and production. Utilize tools such as preliminary hazard analysis, failure modes and effects analysis, criticality analysis, maintainability information, fault tree analysis, and event tree analysis. Life Cycle Asset Management Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure the reliability and sustainability of new and modified installations. Adhere to the life cycle asset management (LCAM) process throughout the entire life cycle of new assets. Participate in the development of design and installation specifications, commissioning plans, and acceptance tests. Evaluate equipment, technical MRO suppliers, and technical maintenance service providers. Guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems. Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an asset maintenance plan that includes: Value-added preventive maintenance tasks. Effective utilization of predictive and non-destructive testing methodologies. Input to a risk management plan anticipating reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks. Engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other operational issues using data analysis techniques such as statistical process control and reliability modeling. Asset Analysis and Technical Support Collaborate with Production to analyze assets, including asset utilization, overall equipment effectiveness, remaining useful life, and other parameters defining operating conditions, reliability, and costs. Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and technical personnel. Apply value analysis to repair/replace, repair/redesign, and make/buy decisions. JOB LOCATION Winchester, Virginia, United States (On-site) POSITION TYPE Full-Time/Regular EXPERIENCE We are looking for leaders with 8 or more years of diverse experience in a manufacturing engineering and/or maintenance environment with strong business acumen. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred. We want to hear from you if you have previous experience as a Maintenance Manager. SALARY Base Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000 annually. The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply.
