The Project Manager will be part of the India RD&E organization in Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls Division (RAC). Project Manager will report to the Head of RD&E in India. Job Responsibilities Lead Product development projects addressing Product for Refrigeration applications in close cooperation with customers. Lead and manage cross functional product development team from business proposal until products are introduced in the market with focus on business impact and fast completion meeting quality and cost. Ensure usage of Agile Methodology for project execution. Organize, lead, and motivate project teams of 5-10 persons. Create clear and attainable project objectives based on business case. Facilitate teamwork and cross functional mindset with use of agile/scrum approaches. Work with stretch targets, encourage, and coach team members. Manage time, cost, and quality according to business case. Prepare and maintain project schedules with focus on time completion of new product development. Ensuring that customer requirements are met and verified (deliveries in the project model). Plan and execute team meetings and workshops according to Danfoss guidelines. Set goals and track/report progress. Create transparency for future projects by highlighting technical feasibility, resource estimation, execution plan, etc. Communicate with customers, management and stakeholders about progress, deviations, and deliveries (Milestone meetings and weekly updates). Plan and prepare risk assessments and mitigation plan. Facilitate structured problem solving. Ensure close cooperation and alignment with Cross-Functional Leaders. Success Criteria Fast Time-to-Market. Strong Deliver according to specifications based on customer feedback and collaboration with high focus on adding value to customers. Establish strong practice in project execution in collaboration with automotive customers. Qualifications Education: Bachelor or Master in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or similar. Work Experience: Minimum overall experience of 10 years with at least 5 years of experience in leading and executing projects as a Project Manager. Experience with direct or indirect management with proven track record in execution of technical projects. Practical experience with project models and product development for customers and applications. Communication: Proficiency in communication using fluent Business English. Other Aspects: Experience within Refrigeration, air-condition or heating systems is a great advantage. Experience with Agile Methodology is preferred. Project Management Certification is preferred. Experience with cross cultural teams at multiple locations.
