Join us in this role where you’ll assist with ensuring quality of indirect tax compliance and manage delivery of value adding and business partnering service to Ørsted, ensuring optimization of tax incentives and a coordinated approach to taxes in the US. Welcome to Global Tax Compliance and Reporting (GTGR) You’ll be part of the US Tax Team where you, together with your colleagues, will play a key role in managing the development, communication, and implementation of US tax strategy and tax compliance. Working from our Boston office, you'll be part of a fast-growing local team that supports our Americas business. As a team, we support each other’s development and deliver an outcome with integrity and by valuing teamwork. You’ll play an important role in: Preparing S&U tax and property tax compliance including filling and managing payments. Maintaining Thomson Reuters S&U tax software for various entities including creating material and tax codes; and reconciling between S&U tax software and general ledger/ERP system (SAP and HFM). Managing and preparing tax exemption certificates for internal companies and external customers or vendors. Assisting in reviewing new and potential asset/project acquisitions for sales tax, property tax, and income tax (including transfer pricing) to determine tax implications. Performing tax research in support of indirect tax planning and compliance, and providing recommendations to tax management. Researching and responding to tax notices and reporting requirements for state indirect tax audits as needed. To succeed in the role, you: Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, tax, or a related field and a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Take ownership and stay the course. Prefer working experience with SAP, HFM, Thomson Reuters OneSource, Microsoft Office applications, and database programs. Have a strong theoretical background paired with a commercial mindset and detail-oriented. Have strong personal drive and initiative and are able to work independently and proactively.
