If this aligns with your values and enthusiasm, we want to hear from you A DAY IN THE LIFE In this position, you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. This site has 83 - V90 1.8 mw turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. You will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8 hours a day, but you will also have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends). Plenty of overtime is available. The team here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically climbs 1 turbines a day. MORE ABOUT YOU You will need a safety-focused mindset and a positive attitude that contributes to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks. An agricultural background or work experience is a great transferable avenue to this entry-level service technician position with Vestas. You will bring a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of transferable mechanical, hydraulic, electrical work, or agricultural background. You can identify solutions to issues through a process of elimination.
