Survey Project Manager / Professional Surveyor Job Locations US-IN-Indianapolis Category Survey / Geospatial Type Full-Time Overview As a Professional Land Surveyor for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC), you will have the opportunity to assist on conventional surveying and reality capture projects. You will work alongside project consultants and highly qualified field staff in a team-first environment. Our projects cover a broad range of renewable energy, utility, commercial and retail developments, as well as health and educational facilities. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years' experience in land surveying. In this role, you will use your knowledge and skills to build surfaces from conventional and reality capture data obtained from UAV Flights and scanning equipment, as well as create ALTA/NSPS Land Title, Boundary and Topographic Surveys as contribution to the project's success. Qualifications 5 years of professional surveying experience; Indiana Professional Land Surveyor license or the ability to obtain licensure within one year ; Civil 3D experience required; Knowledge of Trimble instruments and current survey field procedures required; Valid DL required; Knowledge of technological advances, principles, techniques and practices of land surveying; Experience with survey project management; including preparation of proposals, tracking project budgets, and billing review; Ability to speak and write professionally; Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff in the survey practice; Ability to assist in growth of survey practice using marketing and networking techniques.
