Primary Objective To provide exceptional customer service to patrons visiting the Bloomington Family Aquatic Center. This position will begin training in late May with the Aquatics season running from June 14 - August 24th.
Examples of Duties Program Responsibilities:
- Greet patrons in a warm and friendly manner while maintaining orderly entrance lines
- Answering questions of patrons and deferring these questions to the Lead/Assist Coordinator on duty when appropriate
- Collecting daily admission and season pass forms, knowledge of the prices and cash handling procedures
- Provide concessions service and preparing food
- Light cleaning duties, such as: Cleaning windows, mopping and checking locker rooms at least twice daily
- Collect lost and found items
- Thanking patrons and wishing them good day when they leave the facility
- Other duties as assigned
INCENTIVES IN 2024:Commitment Bonus- A seasonal employee who works until at least August 20th will receive
$100 bonus on their final paycheck.Referral Bonus- A seasonal employee who refers a new seasonal employee will receive
$100 bonus on their final paycheck. Referral paperwork required within one week of employees start date and both employees must be employed for the entirety of the scheduled season to be eligible. Minimum/Desirable Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must possess excellent communication skills
Desirable Qualifications:- Experience in a cashiering
- Experience in food preparation
- At least one year of cash handling procedures
