DescriptionCME Associates is seeking a motivated
Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our team in
East Brunswick office, NJ. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Environmental Engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting sustainable practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Civil/Environmental engineering, problem-solving skills, and a passion for environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities- Strong design experience/capabilities with AutoCAD
- Site grading/Stormwater Management design
- Landfill design engineering experience a plus
- Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance, ensuring projects align with federal, state, and local environmental laws.
- Support the design and implementation of environmental remediation projects, including groundwater treatment and soil remediation.
- Prepare technical reports and feasibility studies for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Perform field investigations, collect environmental data, and analyze data to develop engineering solutions.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
- Experience: 2-5+ years of experience.
- Technical Skills: AutoCAD a must, Proficiency in GIS, and environmental modeling software is a plus.
- Certifications: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the future.
