Requires Lifeguard Training certification through the American Red Cross. Lifeguard Training certification must be valid and current through August 31st. Applicants must be at least 15 years old. The position is eligible for up to 40 hours per week. Assigned work hours vary between 8:30 AM and 10:30 PM, including weekends and holidays. For positions requiring certifications, we provide your training.
Note: Hiring preference is given to applicants who can work consistently throughout the season.

- Enforce all facility rules and regulations regarding public health and safety.
- Warn patrons against hazardous practices and instruct patrons on facility rules.
- Maintain constant watch for accidents or potential accidents or hazards in all water areas and depths of aquatic facilities.
- Possess and utilize superior customer service skills.
- Assist with maintenance work on or around the aquatic center.
- Perform cleaning duties for opening, operating, and closing the aquatic center, vacuuming the pool, and cleaning floors, counters, restrooms, decks, and landscaped areas.
- May be required to work before or after public swimming hours for special aquatic programs or facility rentals.
- Other duties may be assigned
