We are looking for a Manager of Operations to report to our Director of Utility & Sustainability Management in our Frisco office.
The
Manager of Operations leads their respective team in the procurement and payment of accounts, auditing and resolution, and ensures ongoing success of client Utility Bill Pay operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Manage Associates to retrieve client invoices and process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Responsible for performance management coaching and support for assigned Associates.
- Energy invoice analysis, auditing, and resolution within client database.
- Review and prepare client funding files in accordance with client SOW.
- Conduct client meetings on a weekly or monthly basis as needed.
- Contacting and working with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and anomalies.
- Oversee all aspects of Utility Bill Pay client account management with internal and external partners.
- Collaborate with Business Development on applicable upsell accounts to determine best approach, strategy, positioning, etc.
- Utility Bill Pay Reporting support and database maintenance.
- Establish a positive rapport with employees, clients, and vendors.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities- Demonstrate high business acumen in communication with clients, as well as internal team and external partners.
- Success at consistently achieving goals and goal-tracking for direct reports.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize goals, and be detail oriented.
- Demonstrate strong organization and communication (written and verbal) skills coupled with a team-oriented, positive approach.
- Ability to manage a team, including identifying and recruiting talent, managing performance, and making decisions about resource allocation.
Required Education and Experience- Minimum 4+years' experience in client servicing, account management, sales, and/or industry-specific field.
- Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred: college degree, or some college coursework.
- Experience working with MS 365, Chrome/Edge browsers, and learning proprietary software.
- Strong focus on customer service with the skills to handle multiple data requests in a timely manner.
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information from various electronic systems.
- Ability to work variable hours when needed, such as evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
