In this role you will work independently to execute and guide design and documentation tasks across all project phases. This role acts as a specialist in advanced architectural theories, principles, and concepts, addressing complex design challenges and providing guidance to team members. Key Responsibilities: Prepare complex drawings, design concepts, technical detailing, and revisions. Solve architectural issues using advanced knowledge, novel approaches, and sound judgment. Lead design and documentation, ensuring adherence to codes, regulations, and constructability. Mentor team members, providing feedback, guidance, and support. Coordinate consultant documents, including plans, estimates, and reports. Additional Duties: Support project leadership, serve as an AXP Supervisor, and pursue ongoing education in architecture and client management. Develop relationships within the broader design community. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor of Architecture, 5 years of experience (with lab/life sciences projects), Registered Architect, professional portfolio, and LEED GA certification. Preferred: LEED AP w/Specialty, WELL, and Sustainable Building Materials certifications. Skills and Abilities: Advanced Revit skills, design detailing, and technical problem-solving. Strong communication, adaptability, and proactive service orientation. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp, CAD, Enscape, Bluebeam, Newforma, Deltek Vision, and Microsoft Office. Working Conditions: Office-based with occasional site visits. Involves sitting, repetitive motions, and extended communication.
