Summary/Objective To support the trade confirmation process and team, perform trade and FCM verification and validation to reconcile FCM reporting, communicate with ICE, FCMs, and exchanges. This role will also include some Key Performance Metric Tracking as well as process documentation and improvement for all JERA Americas activities. Support trade confirmations desk, perform T0 and T1 trade verification reconciliations from eConfirm or trade systems, generate transaction confirmations as needed, reconcile FCM positions, setup various data field requirements in trade system, reconcile broker fees and FCM fees. Key Performance Metric Tracking around DOA and Risk Limits. Visio documentation of process for Controls and other Risk Functions. Continuous process improvement and/or system development to adhere to industry best practice. Ad hoc projects including Position Limit Monitoring. Utilize a contract centralized depository system. Identify key commercial and credit terms to establish reporting and search parameters around. Constant interaction with commercial, legal, ICE, FCMs, exchanges, management, and counterparties. Ability to work well with others, inside and outside of JERA Americas Inc. Timely response to internal and trade entry enquiries. Acts as a team member with all employees of JERA Americas Inc. staff. Complies with all JERA Americas Inc. policies and procedures. Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment. Ability to multi-task and prioritize various commercial requests. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications Preferred Education and Additional Eligibility Qualifications 1-3 years experience in a trading environment (commodities, equities, securities) preferred. Expertise of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strict attention to detail. Confidence, initiative, strong analytical skill and work ethic are required. Highly motivated, self-sufficient and enthusiastic individual who has strong desire to grow within Risk Control and the Company.
