About this Role Administers and manages corporate benefit plans and programs. Provides advice and guidance to Operating Units on company benefit policies and contracts. Leads benefits related activities in integration of acquisitions, tuck-ins and mergers. Coaches Benefits Administrator. What You'll Do Provides support in the development, planning, implementation, revision and administration of employee benefit programs such as health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, employee assistance, retirement, and other plans. Participates in the research, analysis and evaluation, and administers corporate benefit plans and programs. Is responsible for the preparation and implementation of communication and educational benefits programs and materials. Provides support to Operating Units in a variety of functions. Functions as a liaison between vendors and HR. Oversees enrollment of employees in medical, dental, and prescription drug benefit plans, including annual enrollment. Maintains general information regarding Operating Units access and administrator changes with all vendors. Actively participates in integration of acquisitions, tuck-ins and mergers. Is responsible for training Unit administrators in QS policy, QS benefit policies and eligibility system training. Advises employees on eligibility, coverage and other benefits matters. Supports units by monitoring the processing of death and disability claims and acts as a liaison between unit and carrier for escalated issues. Researches and resolves complex, non-routine problems. Is responsible for updating and maintaining a variety of benefits documents, including but not limited to carrier contracts, plan documents, SPDs, and carrier matrix for structures and benefits. Seeks opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies. Must stay abreast of applicable benefits legislation. Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision. Is responsible for coaching and training Benefits Administrator. Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures. Assists with special projects and performs other related duties as directed by supervisor. What You'll Bring EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in benefits administration. LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: CEBS, PHR or SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
