Job Description We are seeking an experienced Owner's Representative to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between the client and the construction team, ensuring that the project is completed according to the owner's specifications, budget, and timeline. Responsibilities Represent the owner's interests throughout the construction project lifecycle, from planning to completion Review and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements Monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to schedules and budgets Conduct regular site visits and inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions Facilitate communication and coordination between the owner, design team, contractors, and other stakeholders Negotiate and resolve conflicts, change orders, and claims in a timely and cost-effective manner Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards Prepare and present progress reports, project updates, and other documentation to the owner This position requires regular travel to project sites, both locally and potentially out of state Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Proven experience as an Owner's Representative or in a similar construction management role Strong project management skills and familiarity with construction processes and best practices Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of construction contracts, legal requirements, and risk management Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera) Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in New York Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED AP are preferred Experience working on construction projects in the New York metropolitan area is highly desirable Additional Information The annualized salary range for this role is $100,000 to $135,000 per year. VERTEX offers a solid total compensation package including base salary and discretionary bonus plan.
